This exhibition shows vegetable protein production methods, uses, functionality in food production, and nutritional and physiological functions.
The Japan Vegetable Protein Food Association was established in 1975, and in the past 50 years its consumer awareness has gradually increased. The association is working to further increase the consumption of vegetable protein and raise awareness of it. The exhibition includes information on the purpose and background of the association's inauguration, business activities, and an information about member companies, as well as the definition of vegetable protein, its manufacturing method, and uses.
