This exhibition shows vegetable protein production methods, its use, functionality in food production, and nutritional and physiological functions.
The Japan Vegetable Protein Food Association was founded in 1975, and celebrated its 50th anniversary on August 5th this year. For the past 50 years, the association has been working to promote the consumption of vegetable protein and raise awareness of it. The exhibit will include information on the purpose and background of the association’s birth, its business activities, and member companies, as well as definition of vegetable protein, its manufacturing methods, and uses.
