Ⅰ Polyphenol-intestinal bacterial interaction and importance of metabolites
Ⅱ Molecular mechanism of action of polyphenol metabolites on biophysiological functions

Gut microbiota research is accelerating and has become an important topic in the development of next-generation functional foods. In Lecture I, we will take a bird's-eye view of the intestinal bacterial metabolites of polyphenols and consider their application to food. In II, we outline new findings that have revealed the effect of polyphenols on improving metabolic function at the molecular level.
